The following is a list of dive charter boats in San Diego and are listed in alphabetical order. The destinations of these charters vary, but most stay within San Diego and usually includes Wreck Alley, Scripps Canyon, Pt. Loma Kelp Beds, La Jolla Kelp Beds, and other local areas. Other charters will go out further to Los Coronados Islands (Mexico), San Clemente Island, and multi-day trips go as far as the Guadalupe Islands, Santa Catalina Island and the nothern Channel Islands. Smaller charters often cater to technical divers (usually six-packs) and the destination is determined by the divers, allowing for a small group of technical divers to visit dive spots not usually visited by larger charter boats which cater to recreational diving.

• Dive Bliss - BOAT NOT IN SERVICE - Dive Bliss is a 38 foot catamaran out of 1617 Quivira Way San Diego, CA 92109. They are a six-pack charter and can be reached either through their website, or via telephone at (619) 200-5852.
• Dn'DII - is run by DCI and is a 32 foot monohull which can accomodate a maximum of 18 divers and leaves out of Mission Bay and is located at 1500 Quivira Way, San Diego, CA 92109. They can accomodate up to 20 divers and have trips leaving every weekend and some weekdays. The Dn'DII often visits the local sites, including Wreck Alley, Scripps Canyon, and Pt. Loma Kelp Beds. • Goby - the speedy yellow six-pack charter boat you've seen around San Diego. Great for technical charters. Trailered so he can meet you at any of the launches in San Diego. • Horizon - is a 85 foot monohull boat leaving out of Point Loma. This large vessel can comfortably accomodate 32 divers and mostly cater to recreational divers. They are located at 2803 Emerson Street, San Diego, CA and they can be reached at their web address or by calling (858) 277-7823. This vessel is operated by Horizon Charters.
• Hydrodiver - is a 35 foot single-screw monohull leaving from Mission Bay. This six-pack charter often caters to local technical divers and the Captain (owner), Bill Moss, is an able and helpful deckhand as well as the captain. Destinations are decided by the hiring divers and this charter is very amenable to technical divers. • Lois Ann - is a 49' long the Lois Ann can accommodate 20 divers/passengers. She has 2 crew members on board at all times; a captain and mate/DM. They provide air and nitrox fills, sodas and drinking water, as well as snacks and mealsMission Bay, San Diego, CA 800-201-4381.
• Ocean Odyssey - Located at 2803 Emerson Street, San Diego, CA (858)-277-7823. This vessel is operated by Horizon Charters.
• Dive Bliss II - BOAT NOT IN SERVICE - A 28' 12 Passengers 1617 Quivira Way San Diego, CA 92109 619 200-5852.
• Zero Gravity - A 43' Custom Dive Boat run by DCI, The Zero Gravity is Coast Guard Certified (near Coastal). Cruising speed 10 knots, passenger load 20 divers.
