This dive spot
is accessible as a shore dive. This area is located west of Secret
Gardens in approximately 190 fsw. The top of this small canyon starts
at approximately 160 fsw and drops in a steep slope to the bottom.
The wall on the west side of the canyon is fairly steep with clearly
visibible striations in the rock/clay formation. The east portion
of the canyon has a more gradual slope made up of striated rock/clay
with small cave formations under each striated section. There are
many Rockfish here, mostly adult size and they appear very unafraid.
The bottom of this small valley contains kelp detritus. On days with
good visibility (30+ feet) you can clearly see the whole valley from
the east side.
